- N1.What does a Forward Deployed Engineer do day to day?
- They work with a customer's team to understand the problem, build or configure the product against the customer's data and systems, and get it running in production.
- N2.How is an FDE different from a Solutions Engineer?
- A Solutions Engineer supports the sale with demos and scoping. An FDE writes production code after the deal and owns the deployment. See the side-by-side comparison.
